West Plains, MO – In honor of our veterans, Junction Hill School will be hosting our annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11, starting at 2:45 pm in the Gymnasium. Doors open at 2:30.
All visiting Veterans and their loved ones will have the chance to hear songs, poems, and watch performances thanking the Veterans for their service. Each Veteran will receive a small gift and be recognized for their service and honor.
The assembly will include the Presentation of Colors from the 8th grade Student Council members, Armed Forces Medley, and a slide show presentation.
The community is honored to welcome Specialist Wyatt Sellers, a distinguished Army veteran and Missouri Department of Conservation employee, as the featured speaker at our Veterans Day ceremony. A graduate of West Plains High School, Sellers joined the Army in 2016, serving with distinction as a combat veteran with the 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan.
After completing his military service, Sellers returned to Missouri, where he now lives with his two children on a family farm in Summersville. Specialist Sellers’ story of service and dedication to his community embodies the values of commitment and resilience.
Join us in welcoming Specialist Wyatt Sellers as he shares his inspiring journey.
