West Plains, MO. – The subject of recent online posts and a manhunt has been apprehended as of last night by local law enforcement.
The suspect is the much-spoken of Adam Bartlett Jr., who has been sought for over two weeks for various criminal actions and was the subject of a manhunt on October 4th, and multiple police chases in the past month.
At 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 19th, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office received information on the whereabouts of Bartlett. Knowing his history, SWAT was deployed to the location. On arrival, Bartlett attempted to flee once again, but as this tactic was expected, law enforcement officers used their vehicles to collide with Bartlett’s vehicle and pin him in. He was then apprehended without further issue.
The Howell County Sheriff’s Office went on to credit the West Plains PD, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and South Howell County Ambulance for their assistance in this event.
