West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Public Library recently received a grant valuing to just a bit under fifteen-thousand dollars from the State Homeland Security Department.
This grant was written by the Library Director, Greg Carter, and is being put towards upgrading the security system of the Library. The exact value is $14,918.38.
This is all possible because the Library is a voting location, and will include upgrades such as new sensors, new door panels, security touch screens, and a PA system.
Grennan Communications provided help in writing the grant and will assist in installing the new security system.
