In the beginning of this next week, the first real bout of winter weather of 2024 will be upon us. While it’s still too early to forecast specific amounts, it does appear that Monday rain will be leading into Tuesday snow.
In order to get a more official view of the upcoming weather, we spoke to National Weather Service meteorologist Jordan Didio in Springfield.

Remember, as we go into this next week, to leave home early before your commute to account for possible time used in travel, keep a spare coat in your vehicle in case you find yourself stuck, and take all other needed winter travel precautions.
