Mountain View, MO – Agape House Inc. of Mountain View dedicated their new Resource Center on 708 3rd Street in Mountain View. The Center is named after Agape House founder and former Mayor of Mountain View, Joan Smith-Lawson.
Mountain View Mayor Donnie Pruett was on-site to sign a Proclamation naming October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in the city.
Agape House, with the addition of the new Resource Center, offers Outreach Support Services, Survivor Support Group activities, Life-skills classes, and parenting classes. Agape House has 2 locations, in 2 counties with a capacity of 45 adults and children. During 2020, Agape House assisted over 490 people from 22 counties in Missouri.
