(West Plains, MO)UPDATE: 9:30 A.M. – The fire has been contained and crews remain on the scene to quell any flareups or hot spots. West Plains Fire Department officials have given downtown businesses the all clear to open at 9 a.m., however, traffic will remain closed during cleanup efforts.
The West Plains Fire Department is currently fighting a blaze off The Square in downtown West Plains. A call for service came in shortly before 4:00 am.

Dan Williams with Ozark Radio News is on scene reporting that is it in the Powell – Crews Title and Escrow. Some adjacent building have received damage.
