West Plains, MO – Today, workers in West Plains gathered on Preacher Roe Blvd. to protest the vaccine mandate issued by President Joseph R. Biden on September 9, 2021.
This executive order mandated that federal employees, as well as employees of federal contractors and subcontractors, be vaccinated against COVID-19. According to guidance by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force, covered employees of covered federal contractors and subcontractors must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. There is no testing alternative to the vaccination requirement.

This affects many workers in West Plains and they took to the streets to protest what they feel is a violation of their rights.
