Kinder says Jeremy arrived to find the vehicle on fire and an unconscious driver. Adams was able to get the driver out of the vehicle and away from danger before first responders arrived.

The driver was treated for carbon monoxide poisoning and dehydration at Ozarks Medical Center.

Adams was given an Honorary Trooper Certificate at Troop G headquarters in Willow Springs on Tuesday, October 29.
