Eagles Claw Back Against Tigers

Tuesday night saw the Liberty Eagles play host in “The Nest” against conference foe the Houston Tigers. The Tigers got out to a quick and impressive start as Clayton Moore would go 5-5 from the three point line in the first quarter and would go 6-7 for the game, his only miss coming on a block by Zack Stretch. Moore of Houston led all scorers with 22 points, Toon of the Tigers had 10 while Franklin had 11. For the Eagles it was a complete team effort as Kaden Daniels had 18 leading the team to a 58-50 victory. Zack Stretch had 13 and Lee had 11 points respectively. The Eagles move to 14-5 on the season and 2-0 in FCA play while the Tigers fall to 9-9 and 0-3 in FCA play. Liberty plays again in “The Nest” on Friday night against the Tigers from Salem.
