It was Senior Night for the boy’s basketball team as the Liberty Eagles took the floor against conference foe Mountain Grove Panthers. The Eagles came out firing from deep early and often as four different players would hit a three pointer in the first half for the Eagles. At the half it was 34-29 with Mt. Grove with the lead. While the Eagles shot often from deep, it wasn’t an accurate night for the team. It would remain a close game throughout as the Eagles were led by Kaden Daniels(19), Zack Stretch(17), Jaris Acklin(11), and Zeb Cornman had 10 points for a team total of 66. However the Panthers were led by Stenzel(21), and Dowden and Ellis who had 17 points each for a team total of 74. The Eagles fall to 15-7 on the season and 3-2 in conference play.
