Series History vs. Baylor

  • Mizzou trails in the all-time series, 33-26-1.
  • The two teams last met eight years ago (April 5-7, 2012) in Mizzou’s final year in the Big 12 Conference. The Bears produced a three-game series sweep over the Tigers at Taylor Stadium.

Series History vs. Oklahoma

  • Mizzou trails in the all-time series, 152-107-1.
  • Similar to its history with Baylor, Mizzou hasn’t met Oklahoma in eight years (May 27, 2012), as the teams faced off at the Big 12 Tournament. The Tigers walked away with an 8-7 victory that afternoon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Series History vs. Texas

  • Mizzou trails in the all-time series, 34-20.
  • Yet again, Sunday’s matchup in Minute Maid Park will mark the Tigers and Longhorns’ first contest in eight years (May 23, 2012). Mizzou and Texas opened that year’s Big 12 Tournament with the Tigers tallying a 5-0 shutout victory.

Belk off to Monster Start in Mizzou Career

  • The Houston native leads Mizzou with four multi-hit and four multi-RBI games on his early-season resume. Belk also enters this weekend on a team-leading seven-game hitting streak and has safely reached base in eight consecutive contests.
  • Within the SEC individual rankings, Belk’s .480 average ranks fourth in the conference, while his .600 on-base percentage sits second overall.
