Mary Sue Weaver
Mary Sue Weaver, 83, of Mountain View, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Mountain View Healthcare, Mountain View, Missouri. She was born June 7, 1936, in Deere, Arkansas, the daughter of Mitch and Nettie (Norton) Carmack. She graduated from Cabool High School in 1954.
After a previous marriage, she met her husband of 60 years, Wayne Weaver, between them shared five children.
Mary Sue is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Buddie and Harold Carmack; one sister, Velma Clayton; and one son, Victor Dickson.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Linda) Dickison of Springfield, MO, Anita Weaver of Mountain View, MO, Jay (Kristi) Weaver of Hollister, MO;, stepson, Keith (Nita) Weaver of West Plains, MO; one sister, Virginia Rader of Cabool, MO; sister-in-law, Katherine Carmack of Mountain Grove, MO; two special childhood friends, Marie Landsaw and Joyce Cullum; five grandchildren Jeremy (Heather) Wagner, Ashley (Jason) Tucker, Brian (Michele) Weaver, Kurtis (Kayla) Weaver all of Springfield, MO, and Haley (Taylor) Davisson of Hollister, MO; seven great-grandchildren Brenden, Courtney, and Ethan Weaver, Bryce and Brooklyn Wagner, Brynn and Blake Tucker.
She was a cook at Mountain View Elementary for over 25 years and was a huge supporter of her kids and their activities and sports. She was in the stands at every game cheering them on or driving them, along with their friends, to games. She was a member of the booster club and always volunteered for projects. She will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.
Private graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Robert Medley officiating under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View.
