Matthew Dwain Mounce
Matthew Dwain Mounce, 38, of Winona, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at his home. He was born on November 6, 1981, in Mountain View, Missouri, the son of Lawrence and Bobbie (Randolph) Mounce.
Matthew was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Jetta “Jay” Lee Randolph, and paternal grandparents, Lawrence “Tiny” Thomas Mounce and Violet Ruth Mounce.
Survivors include his parents, Lawrence “Junior” and Bobbie Ann Mounce of Winona, MO; maternal grandfather, Gerald Weaver Randolph, of Eminence, MO; his children, Laken Isabella Mounce, Joseph Eli Mounce, Isaac Matthew Mounce, Kyle Redman, and Rainee Counts, all of Winona, MO; two brothers Joshua Thomas Mounce, and wife Chelsea their children, Julia, Lanston, and Brayla of Summersville, MO; brother, Nathan Daniel Mounce, and wife Kathleen, their children, Jackson and Finnegan of Garden City, MO; and one baby sister, Kristen April Brooks, her children, Gibson and Isla, of Mountain View MO; along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
Matthew had a very generous nature and would help anyone in their time of need.
He was very talented mechanically. He went above and beyond for those he loved. He loved his children dearly and they were his joy and purpose in life.
He also had a great love for hunting and was an excellent marksman. He was loved tremendously and will be greatly missed.
Private graveside services will be held at Bethany Chapel Cemetery, Eminence, Missouri with Pastor Troy McAfee officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona. A memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
