Bradley Charles Mitchem

Bradley Charles Mitchem, 52, of Winona, Missouri went to his heavenly home on April 22, 2020, while at his home.  He was born November 21, 1967, in Mountain View, Missouri to Charles Emory “Joe” and Judith Ann (Treese) Mitchem.  Brad was united in marriage to Pamela Haynes on November 4, 1995.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Judy Mitchem; grandparents, Edgar and Gatie Mitchem, and Martin and Edith Treese.

           Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Pam Mitchem of Winona, MO; two sisters, Bridget Kalman of Winona, MO and Bev Sanders of Tulsa, OK; father and mother-in-law, Gene and Judy Haynes of Winona, MO; brothers-in-law Eddie Haynes of Winona, MO and Chris and Ana Haynes of Winona, MO; nieces and nephews, Makalie, Tanner, Taylor, Crystal, Casen, Hayden, Madilyn, and Axen.

Brad had worked in road construction since he was 17 years old.  He started in Texas with Missouri Petroleum and went on to work with Howards Construction, Chester Bros., and was currently working with Emery Sapp & Sons.  He had a love for running heavy equipment.      

Brad loved to hunt, fish, and go to the river.  He enjoyed rabbit hunting with his dogs and couldn’t wait for deer camp each year.

Brad had a very generous heart and was always willing to help.  He loved his friends and family and never met a stranger.  He was known to many as “Uncle Brad”,” Bad Brad”, and uncle” B-Rad”.  He had a special place in his heart for nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held Saturday at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri with Pastor Steve Voyles officiating under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri.  Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
