Mary Alice Ellerman Searcy was born in Salem, Missouri, on October 14, 1962 to Lloyd Wendell and JoAnn Adams Ellerman. Mary departed this life on Monday, June 22, 2020 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 57 years.
Mary was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Eugene Searcy, on September 10, 1983 at Eminence, Missouri.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Letha Searcy.
Mary is survived by her husband, Robert of their home in Bourbon, MO; adored pet, Jesse; sister, Carol Ellerman Lacy and husband, Jim of Salem, MO; sister-in-law, Kim Searcy Self and husband, Steve, of Herriman, UT; nieces, Lisa Hockett of Rolla, MO, and Gina Bobbitt of Salem, MO; great-niece, Carson Mowery of Cape Girardeau, MO; great-nephew, Wyatt Parks of Springfield, MO; and many other extended family and friends. Mary had several greatly loved dogs over the years.
She loved hunting and fishing with her husband and spending time with her family. Mary was a remarkably strong and courageous woman, facing and rising above her challenges in life and always with positivity and a smile on her face. She was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
