Fulton County Fair to hold Junior Livestock Show

The traditional Fulton County Fair was cancelled but a plan was submitted and approved by the Arkansas Dept. of Agriculture and Dept. of Health for a Junior Livestock Show for youth who reside in Fulton County or attend school in the county. The shows will be July 23 and 25 and 34 youth will be showing cattle, hogs, sheep and goats. All health department and CDC guidelines will be followed for the livestock shows.

Many of the animals will be sold at the Junior Livestock Premium Sale at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25th in the Everett Show Barn. Exhibitors will have 16 – 18 hogs and some cattle and goats will be sold.  Businesses and individuals are encouraged to come out and support the Fulton County Junior Livestock Program. Donations are also being accepted for added money which will be divided between all of the youth who show in this special livestock show.

Face masks will be required but can be removed if the 6 ft. social distancing is observed.  Attendees should bring lawn chairs since the bleachers had to be removed from the show arena to meet the social distancing guidelines.
