Liberty Over Houston in Regular Season Finale

On Friday night the Liberty Eagles traveled to Houston to face the Tigers in the final regular season game of the year.  The first half was a defensive battle as both teams struggled to move the ball.  Liberty started the scoring in the second half and took a 14-0 lead at halftime.  Liberty came out of the gates fast in the second half scoring a touchdown and then an interception return for a touchdown by Zeb Cornman put the game well in hand of the Eagles.  Tyler Watts had a huge game compiling over 340 yards of total offense and 5 total touchdowns (4 passing, 1 rushing).  Liberty wins the game 40-0 and await the final district standings to determine their next game.
