The West Plains Zizzers hosted the Carl Junction Bulldogs on November 13, 2020. The game was off to an exciting start with an early touchdown by the Bulldogs during the first quarter that was quickly answered by the Zizzers with a touchdown of their own. The first quarter ended with a tie score of seven. The second quarter had both teams warmed up and playing hard. Carl Junction scored a touchdown and West Plains had the home crowd cheering with three touchdowns. The first half ended with a strong Zizzer lead, 28 to 14.
After halftime, Carl Junction came back to the field with strong defensive plays and stalled West Plains offense. The third quarter ended with the Bulldogs closing the point gap by six points, Zizzers leading 28 to 20. The Bulldogs started the fourth quarter with an early touchdown and coming within two points of the Zizzers. At this point, the West Plains Zizzers stormed the field, taking two touchdowns within 30 seconds and scoring another touchdown to bring a decisive victory against the Carl Junction Bulldogs, 41 to 26.
Again, the West Plains Zizzers defeat the Carl Junction Bulldogs, 41 to 26.
