Members of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) student organizations at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) recently joined forces to collect much needed items for residents at NHC Health Care and Brookhaven Health Care centers. Faculty, staff and students donated approximately 100 items during the campus-wide drive from Nov. 9-20.
Items included socks, packaged snacks, toiletries, puzzle and coloring books, throws and small blankets, winter gloves and hats, stuffed animals and dolls for the special needs units to make the holidays a little brighter for these residents, organizers said.

PTK is the international honor society for two-year colleges. PBL is the collegiate version of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and helps hundreds of thousands of students prepare for business careers. (MSU-WP Photo)
