Survivors include: 1 daughter, Judy Griffin & husband Randy of West Plains, MO; 1 son, Mark Stewart of West Plains, MO; 3 grandchildren, Angie Cuffia & husband Robby of Jonesboro, AR, Amanda Frederick & husband Koddy of West Plains, MO, and Ian Stewart of New York; 9 great-grandchildren, Drew Shipp, Tanner Shipp, Adrianna Shipp, Spencer Graves & wife Brooke, Liam Shipp, Kade Weatherford, Madden Cuffia, Khloe Frederick, Kyden Frederick; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives & friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, John W. “Jack” Stewart; her parents, Sterling & Hattie (Allen) Hackney; 2 sons, John Stewart and infant son Bobby Stewart; 1 grandson, Shane Shipp; 1 sister; 3 brothers.
On May 16, 1947, Rexine was united in marriage to Jack Stewart in Jonesboro, AR. They spent many happy years working together on their farm and selling cars.
Funeral services will be 10am Monday, March 29, 2021, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Larry Yarber officiating, and burial following in the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, MO. Visitation will be 9am-10am Monday, just prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
