Mountain View, Mo. – A Mountain View man was injured Saturday afternoon after he was hit by his own vehicle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 1:40 p.m. on County Road 3940, two miles northwest of Mountain View.
William Fenton, 68, had exited his 1998 Dodge 1500 without placing the vehicle into park. The truck rolled, striking Fenton and severely injuring him. He was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
