Jordan Binnington has been cleared from COVID-19 protocols and will be eligible to join the team for practice on Thursday at Centene Community Ice Center.
Binnington, who tested positive for COVID-19 before the morning skate on Dec. 2 in Tampa Bay, has missed seven games.
With Binnington ready to return, the Blues traded goalie Jon Gillies to the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday for future considerations. Gillies made 36 saves in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.
Through 16 games this season, Binnington is 8-5-3 with a 2.80 goals-against average, a .912 save-percentage and one shutout.
