The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association has released this week’s rankings for boys and girls basketball and area teams getting ranked starting with the girls in class 3 Licking comes in at #4. Houston Lady Tiger and the Liberty Lady Eagles received votes but did not crack the top ten. In class 4 Ava is ranked at #9. And in class 5 the West Plains Lady Zizzers are #3. On the Boys side of the state rankings in class 1 South Iron is #1 Bunker comes in at #5. In class 2 Norwood is #1, Alton #3, and Gainesville #8. In class 3 Thayer is ranked #1, Strafford #3, and Hartville is #8. In class 4 Ava is ranked #7, Willow Springs is #9 and Fair Grove is #10.
