Joel Wyatt has been named the new head coach for the West Plains High School football team. Wyatt replaces the current head coach, Matt Perkins, who was recently hired as the head football coach at Columbia Rock Bridge. Wyatt is currently the Willow Springs head football coach. Wyatt also served as the head football coach at Kennett from 2017 to 2021 and at Malden High School from 2010 to 2017. In addition to coaching, he will be the West Plains High School weight room teacher.

Mike Kenslow will lead the West Plains High School softball team as the new head coach into the fall 2022 season. Kenslow is an assistant coach for the West Plains High School baseball and softball programs and the South Fork Elementary P.E. teacher. Kenslow’s promotion comes following the softball head coach resignation of Amy Marshall, who served since 2018.

 

HS basketball scores from last night. Boys class 4 district 11 from MG, Hollister over Forsyth 63-47. WS over Reeds Spring 55-27. Rogersville over MG. Class 5 district 5 Catholic over Glendale 58-47. Rolla over WP 61-56.

 

HS basketball for tonight. WP Lady Zizzers play Marshfield at 6pm at Marshfield game will air on kdy 102.5. Ava Lady Bears play Hollister at 6pm and WS Lady Bears play Rogersville at 730 games are being played at Mtn Grove.

 

All district teams are voted on before the tournament starts. It is not an all tourney team. It is an all season award. Class 3 District 10 MBCA All District Team.
