Mountain Home, ARK. – The Mountain Home mother accused of killing her son in March pleaded not guilty when she went before the Baxter County Circuit Court on Monday, April 4, 2022.
Rebecca Lynn Henley, age 44 of Mountain Home, was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of her son on the night of March 20, 2022. Henley told police in an interview that she had to kill the teenager “for righteousness, to save everybody.” She was taken into custody and is charged with Murder in the First Degree, a Class Y Felony, and remains an inmate of the Baxter County Jail with a $500,000 Bond.

According to electronic court documents, Henley will stand before a jury trial on October 24, 2022.
