Chiefs add another receiver

(Kansas City) In baseball you can’t have too much pitching. As far as the Kansas City Chiefs are concerned, that rule also applies to wide receivers.

Multiple reports say the Chiefs will sign Justyn Ross from Clemson to bolster their receiving group.

The 6-4. 205 lb. wideout was outstanding when healthy but has been battling injuries the last 2 years including a stress fracture in his foot plus spine issues that required surgery.

His best year was 2018 when, during Clemson’s national title run totaled 12 catches for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns in wins over Notre Dame and Alabama.

The signing is pending a physical.
