Janet Evans

Janet enjoyed gardening and planting at her longtime Gainesville home. Neighbors and friends often commented on her well-cared for flower beds and lawn.

She was an exceptional grandmother and mother. She loved her family fiercely and supported her loved ones without question throughout their whole lives. Although she was not a risk taker herself, she often encouraged her family even through their more adventurous choices. Janet especially adored and enjoyed spending time with her 3-year-old grandson, JR IV, who lovingly referred to her as his “Bamama.” She was a genuine and honestly good person, taking pride in doing right by friends, neighbors and family.
