Jim spent most of his life working in various aspects of carpentry. He retired from Deldon Doors, where he installed garage doors in the KC Metro area. Jim enjoyed fishing, camping, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and most of all deer hunting. Year around, he spent countless hours with friends and family preparing for hunting season. Now, he gets to live pain and anxiety free in his happy hunting ground.
His final resting place will be near Mammoth Springs, AR, where he called “down home”.
A visitation for James will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you consider making a donation to the American Lung Association, https://www.lung.org/get-involved/ways-to-give or to the Field Creek Cemetery via the Simmons Bank, 165 Main St, Mammoth Spring, AR 72554.
