2:50 p.m. The power outage is not affecting customers of Howell Oregon Electric.

2:38 p.m. A one vehicle accident striking a powerline has caused a power outage in West Plains. The powerline seems to have started a fire near the transfer station on Old Airport Road in West Plains.

Power is out for a large number of people in West Plains and Phone lines are being affected.

Cody Sanders with the City of West Plains gave us this statement: “We’ve got lines down at the transfer station, utility and fire are on the scene. No further Details available.”
