The Royals’ bullpen gave up seven runs in the final four innings of a 7-3 loss to the Diamondbacks at Kauffman Stadium. Josh Staumont was charged with his third loss after giving up four runs in one-and-a-third innings. Bobby Witt Jr. homered in the losing effort as Kansas City falls to 50-and-75.
