Willow Springs, MO. – Good Graces Pharmacy in Willow Springs is participating in the International Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative study for innovative early detection. As a collaborative of one of the seven international pilot sites in the United States, Scotland, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, and Brazil, this opportunity is to increase patient access and early diagnosis of cognitive decline conditions.
“We are finding enormous appetite from healthcare systems around the world to prepare for future Alzheimer’s treatments, but first we must help healthcare systems adapt to early detection,” said George Vradenburg, Founding Chairman of the Board, Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative, and Convener, The Global CEO Initiative on Alzheimer’s Disease. “By working directly with medical professionals, researchers, people at risk, and patients, these sites will utilize cutting-edge technology to change the way we deliver care, and help prepare healthcare systems to get the right treatments to the right patients at every stage of the disease.”
To participate in the study, patients must be 65 years or older. Candidates should be prepared to bring their entire medical problem list and medication list (both prescription and over-the-counter) to the pharmacy. Patients must also:
- Not currently be treated with cognitive decline medications
- Able to read and consent to a study Informed Consent Form
- Engage with the testing device using at least 1 full vision eye and 1 fully functional hand.
Call Good Graces today at 417-855-1085 to schedule your appointment. Even if you do not qualify for the study, you will still be able to schedule an appointment with the pharmacy to gain insightful information into your cognitive abilities throughout the study period without being included in the study.
