Wanda June Fleetwood, 82 years, 3 months, 6 days old, passed peacefully on September 27, 2022 at her home.
Wanda was born June 21, 1940 in Douglas County, MO to Clarence and Vera (Green) Cornelius.
In 1996 Wanda and Paul Fleetwood were united in marriage at Ozark, MO.
Wanda grew up in the Ava community. In her early life she traveled to California and became a singer. She got the opportunity to sing in various venues for several years. She also was a homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Terry Joe Cooley Fleetwood, her husband Paul Fleetwood, brothers; Fred, Harold and Jackie Cornelius, her sisters; Carol Taylor and Kathy Evans; and grandson, Tyler Rambo.
She is survived by her sons, Timmy Cooley and Teddy Fleetwood; two step sons, Paul Junior Fleetwood, Jr. and Guy Fleetwood;
five grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Thomas and Charlotte Jones, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation services for Wanda are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. At Wanda’s request there will be no services.
