West Plains, MO. – Two teens were injured in a one vehicle crash near West Plains on Monday morning. The accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. on MO 17, one and one-half miles south of West Plains.
A 2017 Jeep Patriot driven by a 17-year old male and headed north ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a driveway and becoming airborne. The vehicle landed and overturned, injuring the driver and the 13-year old female occupant. The girl had suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. The driver had minor injuries and sought his own medical treatment.
