Eileen Madonna Anderson, 84 years, 3 months, and 1 day old, passed away to heaven on October 30, 2022 at her home with family by her side.
Eileen was born July 29, 1938 in Foil, Missouri to Ray and Retha (Lawson) Jones.
In 1955 Eileen and Basil Prine were united in marriage and together they were blessed with seven children. He preceded death in 1989.
Later, Eileen and Russell Anderson were united in marriage and he also preceded in death.
Eileen was a Nurses Assistant and had worked in Calamus, Iowa until she retired and moved back to the Ava and Squires communities. Eileen loved working outside and she was a hard worker. She was a member of the Ava General Baptist Church and loved serving there. At the church, she did their cleaning and setting up for funeral dinners and etc. Most recently her joys were going on outings with her sisters, Pat and Judy and spending time with all her family!
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Basil and later, Russell, two sons Stan Prine and Jesse Prine Sr.; an infant grandson, Paul; two brothers Rick Jones, and Nick Jones.
Eileen is survived by her children, Cindy & Kenny Wilson of Ava, Patti & Terry Watts of DeWitt, IA, Ruth & “Burr” Taber of Diggins, MO, Randy Prine of Walcott, IA, and Scott & Jodi Prine of Brixey, MO; 21 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; her siblings, Eugene & Theresa Jones, Pat Jones, Jerry & Mary Jones, Judy & Jerry Spurlock, Verle & Mitzi Jones, Cheryl & George Lansdown and Rhonda & Rodney Yost, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava per Eileen’s request. Graveside will be at a later date and time at the Thornfield Cemetery.
