West Plains, MO. – Judge Robert David Ray has been assigned to the case against the Pottersville couple accused of stealing over $200,000 from an elderly woman.
Judge Ray was assigned to the case on Tuesday, November 22 and a criminal setting has been scheduled for January 26, 2023. The case is against Jeffrey and Juanita Proffitt, who are accused of stealing over $204,273.35 from Jeffrey’s mother from July 2019 to August 2021, according to the probable cause statement.

The pair are charged with Felony Stealing $25,000 or more and Felony Financial Exploitation of Elder/Disabled Person.
