West Plains, MO. – On December 16, 2022, Deputies with the Howell County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant for a wanted person at a residence on State Route K Highway in West Plains. The wanted person, Michael L. Roberts, has an active arrest warrant out of Howell County.
At roughly 9:50 a.m., Howell County Deputies executed the search warrant on the residence. During the execution of the search warrant, suspected Methamphetamine was observed in plain view in the residence.
Formal charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. The search was conducted with the assistance of the West Plains Police Department.
Michael L. Roberts was not located and remains at large. The Howell County Sheriff’s Office request the assistance of the public in the apprehension of Mr. Roberts.
