Branson, MO. – The West Plains Zizzers Boys played tonight against the Branson Pirates, and while they struggled a bit in the beginning, they managed to pull a wind-up-win in the end.
The first quarter saw Branson leading with 13 points as they managed to score multiple three-point goals. The second quarter continued in a similar fashion, save for the Zizzers Boys gearing up bit by bit. By the end of the half-time, the Zizzers had closed the gap, only showing a single-point difference between the two team’s scores.
In the third quarter, this trend continued, with the Zizzers game tightening even further. They then were leading the Pirates by 7 points by the end, 41 to 34. By the end of the match, it was almost no contest as the West Plains team were in top form. The ending of the game saw the Zizzers victory cemented with a 14 point lead. Harlin Hutchinson stated this match was “one of the finest games the boys had played”.
