The MSU WP Grizzly softball team hosted Williams Baptist yesterday Lady Grizzlies rolled to a game one victory 11-1 and game two went to Williams Baptist 14-3 Grizzly third baseman Molly Pool Homered in both games. The Grizzlies play a double header at Metropolitan College at Kanas City on Thursday.

Class 5 district 6 girls championship basketball game was played last night with two state ranked teams taking the floor West Plains the 1 seed and Rolla the 2 seed. Rolla jumped out on top early but the Zizzers turned it on in the second half with more here is Harlan Hutchison.

 

The Lady Zizzers play in the quarter finals vs Jefferson City at Bolivar Saturday at 545pm game will air on KDY 102.5.

Ava Lady Bears topped Rogersville last night in the Class 4 district 11 girls championship game 47-40. The Ava Lady Bears will play Southern Boone Saturday in the Sectional round at 4pm at Bolivar.

 

The Blues gave up four goals in the third period of a 6-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena.  Blues had an early lead in the third minute of the game, but Arizona tied the game before the end of the first period and took the lead for good at the end of the second. St Louis remains in sixth-place in the Central Division with 59 points and a 27-31-and-5 record.  The Blues host the Sharks tomorrow.

 

Two members of the (MSU-WP) Grizzly Basketball team earned all-region honors for Region 16.They are sophomore guard Aiden Gair, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and sophomore point guard Sterling “Trey” White III, Chesapeake, Virginia. Gair earned first team honors, while White was selected to the second team.
