The Cardinals scored a pair of runs in the top of the ninth to beat the Cubs 6-4 at Wrigley Field. Paul DeJong broke a 4-4 tie with a solo home run, and Andrew Knizner added an RBI double later in the inning. Lars Nootbaar and Nolan Gorman also went deep in the victory, and Chris Stratton earned the win in relief. Giovanny Gallegos picked up his second save to lock down a third-straight Cardinals’ win.
