Intoxicated driver charged following crash that injures passenger in Wright County

West Plains, MO. – A crash near Mansfield resulted in injuries for one person and charges for another on Friday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, this incident occurred at 5:35 p.m. on Highway 5, two miles north of Mansfield. 

A northbound Ford Focus driven by Dominic Johnson, age 22 of Hartville, ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence and a tree. Johnson’s passenger, 26-year-old Christina Johnson, was injured in the crash and taken by Mercy Ambulance to Cox Medical Center-South in Springfield for treatment.

The driver was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Careless and Imprudent Driving, and No Seatbelt.
