Hartville, MO. – Three individuals have been seriously injured in a crash near Hartville, with one needing emergency air ambulance transport for recovery.
This accident occurred on Highway F, 9 miles West of Hartville on Sunday, July 2nd at 8:12pm. The report states a Ford F150 was driven off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, became airborne, and struck multiple trees.
The vehicle was being driven by Ricky Burris, 58 of Falcon, MO. Burris and one occupant, Clayton Sanders, 66 of Hartville, were seriously injured and were taken to Cox South in Springfield by ground ambulance. Another occupant, Ladonna Coltrane, a 64-year-old Hartville resident, was seriously injured and had to be flown via air ambulance to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
No person listed in this report was wearing a safety device. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
Burris is facing multiple criminal charges including: Felony DWI Resulting in Serious Physical Injury, Careless and Imprudent Driving Resulting in a Crash, No Insurance, Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, Failure to Display Valid Plates, and No Seat Belt.
