The National League and American Leagues Best gathered in Seattle Washington Last night for the 2023 version of the All Star Game. Both the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals only had one player on each squad, Nolan Arenado and Salvador Perez. Nolan Arenado started at third base for the National league and was o for 2 at the plate before being lifted for the Braves Austin Riley. Salvador Perez was 1 for 2 with a run scored after replacing Shohei otani at DH. The National League ended a 10 game losing streak to the American league as unlikely hero Elias Diaz Colorado Rockies Catcher hit a 2 run Home Run to lift the National League to a 3-2 victory. Diaz was named MVP.
The St. Louis Cardinals will be off until Friday, when they face the Washington Nationals at Busch Stadium.
The NFL Season is coming up quick as later this month teams will begin training camps across the country. The Kansas City Chiefs will start their Super Bowl Title defense with training camp on July 23rd on the Campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph Missouri.
