Three Teen Juveniles Injured Near Cabool

Cabool, MO. – Serious injuries are the result of a crash that occurred on the afternoon of July 31st, with all three occupants of the vehicle in question being teen juveniles from Cabool.

This crash took place on Highway PP, roughly four miles North of Cabool at 2:20pm. The driver was a 17-year-old male. The group was travelling Northbound when the driver went off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected. This caused them to travel off the left side of the road, strike a ditch, overturn, and eject one occupant.

One occupant, a 16-year-old male, was wearing a safety device and only sustained minor injury. The other two were not wearing safety devices. The driver was left with moderate injuries and a 13-year-old occupant was inflicted with injuries listed as serious. All three boys were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment.

The investigator of this crash was Corporal T.L. Brown of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and they were assisted by Corporal S.J. Crewse.
