Oxly, MO. – An overturn crash has led to the loss of a juvenile life on Saturday, September 2nd near Oxly, MO.
This crash occurred in the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop E territory on County Road N-2, 5 miles South of Oxly. Bryan Childers, a 34-year-old male listed as being from Doniphan, MO., was driving a Toyota Tacoma when, at roughly 5:05pm, he ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.
Childers is not listed as having been injured in the accident. However, a 5-year-old female listed as an occupant in the crash, was unbuckled and suffered fatal injuries. The juvenile was pronounced deceased by Deputy Coroner Chad Haywood at 5:45pm.
The investigator of this crash was Sergeant B.L. Riefle of Troop E, and was assisted by Major Crash Investigation Unit Sergeant J.M. Weadon.
