Ellington, MO – Three minors have been injured in an ATV accident that occurred on Saturday, September 2nd.
The investigation on this accident was performed by Trooper C.C. McCoy of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G. According to the report, this Reynolds County crash happened at 11:53am near Ellington, at a place listed as Trail One.
Two juveniles, age 13 and 15, were riding atop a Polaris Ranger ATV, with a third juvenile, age 12, operating it. The vehicle started to slide on the trail before going off the right side of the roadway and overturning.
None of the juveniles were wearing a safety device. The operator sustained minor injuries and was taken to Farmington Hospital for treatment. The two occupants suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional for recovery.
