Mizzou 38, Vanderbilt 21

Mizzou opened up SEC play with a 38-21 win over Vanderbilt at FirstBank Stadium on Saturday. Brady Cook hit Theo Wease on a 12-yard touchdown pass to put the Tigers up by ten with under a minute left before the first half, and Mizzou led by at least two possessions the rest of the way. Cook had 395 passing yards and four touchdown passes in the victory. He also set an SEC record by throwing 348 passes without an interception.

Luther Burden caught 11 passes for 140 yards and two scores, while Wease had 118 yards and a TD on ten catches.

The Tigers are 5-and-0 overall and 1-and-0 in the SEC. Mizzou takes on LSU this Saturday.
