Two hurt in head-on collision near Centerville

West Plains, MO – Two people were injured in a head-on collision near Centerville on Monday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Highway 72, one mile west of Centerville.

An eastbound Chevy Express driven by Vaughn Roberts, age 53 of Salem, Missouri, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a westbound Chrysler Sebring driven by Andrew Bullock, age 48 of Bunker, head-on.

The drivers from both vehicles were not reported as being injured. Two passengers of the Chevy, Tasha Maize of Lesterville and Michael Chitwood of Ellington, both suffered moderate injuries. The injured parties were transported by Washington County Ambulance to Iron County Medical Center for treatment.
