The Willow Springs Bears welcomed the Seymour Tigers to town Tuesday night. It was the first game of the season for the Bears. Seymour came into the contest with one game under their belt on the season, being (1-0). The first quarter saw the teams going back and forth with the lead. Willow Springs lead after the first quarter 15-14. The second quarter saw much of the same and the Bears maintained the lead 28-25.
The Tigers took control in the third quarter using a 16-7 run throughout the quarter to have the lead at the end of the quarter 41-35. The Bears started the fourth quarter with a run of their own to bring the game within one. The Tigers were able to withstand the Bear run and maintained the lead. Seymour would go on to win the game 41-50. Willow Springs is (0-1) on the season and will be back in action on Monday, the 27th.
