On Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, Dorothy Louise Ince left this earth to be with the Lord in Heaven. Dorothy was born May 18th, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri, to Everett and Hazel Westmoreland. Dorothy married Bob Ince, in 1961, at the ripe old age of fifteen. Her love and commitment to Bob have been faithfully lived out for 62 years.
Dorothy loved her family and always put them first. She was lovingly known as “Granny.” At Granny’s, you can always count on her sweet tea, something delicious whipped up to eat, and the best front porch visits. Granny was exceptional in all she did. She was all things to all of us.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bob Ince, of Hartville, Missouri, daughter, Tarry Perkins and her husband, Tony Perkins, of Marshfield, Missouri, daughter, Connie Brumfield of Morrisville, Missouri, and her son, Dan Ince of Hartville, Missouri. She has 10 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, granny, sister, and friend. We celebrate her beautiful life and will cherish all the happy memories.
Lamentations 3:22-26, 31-33
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.
