Lisa was an R.N. for many years.  She served her patients with care and love from a kind, sweet, and gentle spirit!  She cared for her mother-in-law, Vernieca, in her and Vernon’s home for fifteen years, and her brothers-in-law as needed.  She was a quiet, God-gifted caregiver who selflessly opened her heart and home to Vernon’s family and anyone else in need.  She and Vernon’s mother loved each other dearly.  She was a housewife and companion for Vernon for the last years of her life.  Lisa proudly served as Camp Nurse for the Howell Baptist Association where she was referred to as ‘Nurse Mom”.  Each year, she would be sure to stock her Nurse’s Cabin with plenty of popsicles, candy, and treats! She loved doing this each summer with her daughter, Elisabeth, and sister-in-law, Mary.  She was a current member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Hutton Valley, Missouri.  Lisa loved her family, Chinese and Egyptian items, scary movies, the beach, playing with her cell phone, cooking, reading books, and her frequent phone calls to Anna (whom she always told me she was her “sister” and “best friend”) and her beloved mother, Lovelene.  She always ended their calls with a sweet, “I love you, Mommy.  Bye!”  I know Lisa would say this to us all, ‘I love you all . . . Bye!”  She will be sorely missed by us all.  God bless you, Lisa.  See you in Heaven.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Vernon Colbert, of the home; her children, Emilee Colbert, Denmark, Levi Colbert, West Plains, Missouri, and Elisabeth Colbert, of the home; her grandchildren (three boys and one girl); her nieces and nephews; her mother, Lovelene Hall, Navarre, Florida; her sisters, Anna Bujarski, Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Misti Hunt, Ozark, Missouri; and her brothers, Keith Hall, Navarre, Florida, and Michael Hall, Navarre, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her father, Levi Hall, and her Granny Miller.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Big Springs Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
